When Electromagnetic Brake are applied, first the quicker coil gets energized and after several milliseconds both the coil gets energized, resulting magnetic flux works against the spring force to draw the armature plate to the stator. This releases the rotor from the spring force and allows it to rotate freely. This model supports the use of the torque adjustment ring to reduce the braking torque. Size of the brake varies with respective of motor speed and kilowatt.
