BRAKO Industries was founded in 2009 in Kalapatti, Coimbatore — one of India's foremost industrial manufacturing hubs — with a focused mission: to manufacture reliable, high-quality electromagnetic brakes and brake motors for Indian industry at competitive prices.

What started as a small manufacturing unit has grown into a trusted name across Indian industry. Today, BRAKO supplies electromagnetic fail safe brakes, brake motors, solid state rectifiers, electromagnetic clutches, brake discs and AC brake coils to customers spanning textiles, material handling, CNC machining, packaging, wind energy and special purpose machines — from Tamil Nadu to Gujarat, Maharashtra to Rajasthan.

We operate as a partnership firm with our manufacturing facility at #54A, Pacha Thottam, Near Ashok Nagar, Kalapatti, Coimbatore — 641048. Every product that leaves our facility is inspected for dimensional accuracy and coil resistance before dispatch.

What We Manufacture

Our complete product range covers every major electromagnetic braking and power transmission component required by Indian industry — from standalone brake units to complete brake motor assemblies and rectifier systems.

Electromagnetic Fail Safe Brake

Spring-engaged, electrically released DC brakes. Engages automatically on power failure — the standard choice for hoists, cranes, and vertical load applications. Available 1.5 Nm to 160 Nm, 24V to 110V DC.

Electromagnetic Dual Coil Brake

Two-stage braking with independent dual coil control. Delivers smooth, jerk-free deceleration for high-inertia and high-cycle applications including CNC axes and precision textile looms.

Single Phase Brake Motor

Integrated single phase induction motor with built-in electromagnetic fail safe brake. 230V AC supply, 0.18 kW to 2.2 kW, IEC standard frames B3/B5/B14. Built-in rectifier — no external rectifier required.

Three Phase Brake Motor

Heavy-duty three phase squirrel cage induction motor with integrated DC fail safe brake. 415V AC, 0.37 kW to 22 kW, IP55, IEC frames 80 to 200. Fast brake response — critical for crane and hoist safety.

Industrial Brake Disc

Precision-machined brake discs for electromagnetic brake systems. High wear resistance, OEM-compatible dimensions, available in multiple bore and outer diameter configurations.

Solid State Rectifiers

Single phase, three phase, and dual coil variants. Converts AC supply to DC for electromagnetic brake coil excitation. Compact, maintenance-free, suitable for panel and DIN rail mounting.

Electromagnetic Non Fail Safe Brake

Power-on braking for applications where the brake should engage when current is applied. Suitable for packaging machines, conveyors and special purpose machines requiring active braking control.

Electromagnetic Clutch

Flange-mounted and shaft-mounted electromagnetic clutches for precise torque transmission in industrial automation. Suitable for packaging, textile machinery, SPMs and conveyor drives.

AC Brake Coil

Precision-wound replacement AC brake coils for industrial electromagnetic brake systems. Long service life, compatible with major brake system configurations, available in multiple voltage ratings.

We dispatch to customers across India by courier and transport. Standard models are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days. Custom specifications are quoted with lead time at the time of enquiry.

We confirm application details — torque, voltage, mounting, IP rating, duty cycle — before recommending a product. The right specification matters more than the fastest sale. A wrong brake is an expensive problem for our customer.

On-time delivery

Industrial downtime is expensive. We maintain stock of standard models and commit realistic delivery timelines. When we give a dispatch date, we meet it. Where we cannot, we communicate proactively.
